In Detroit and across Michigan, far too many families—especially in historically excluded Black and Brown communities—are locked out of the dream of homeownership. Systemic barriers like poor credit, lack of financial education, low savings, and predatory lending continue to block pathways to generational wealth.
RISE Detroit is our answer to these challenges—a holistic, community-centered initiative designed to help low-to-moderate income (LMI) residents become mortgage-ready, credit-strong, and financially empowered.
