Impact and Results

Motorcity Activity Center measures success by tracking participation, completion, and outcomes across all programs. Our evaluation methods include attendance tracking, pre- and post-program surveys, participant feedback, and follow-up assessments to measure improvements in financial knowledge, household stability, wellness access, and youth engagement.

Recent Community Impact

3,500+ nutritious meals distributed to Detroit families through ThriveWell Michigan, including a weekly partnership with a women and children’s homeless shelter providing hot meals every Friday to support weekend food stability for 50+ women and children, representing over $35,000 in food support in 2025.

Community baby showers provided at no cost for expectant mothers, delivering essential baby supplies, diapers, and parenting resources to promote maternal and infant stability.

Youth mentored through financial literacy and real estate education, equipping participants with foundational money management, savings, and asset-building knowledge.

Parents and teens completed financial education workshops, increasing financial confidence, budgeting skills, and long-term economic planning.

Over 200 children and families served through community partnerships during the annual Jingle Jam holiday initiative, providing brand-new winter coats and toys to reduce seasonal hardship and support family well-being.

Impact data is collected through attendance tracking, partner reporting, and participant feedback to inform program improvements and ensure resources meet demonstrated community needs.
