 Donald C. Drake is the visionary founder and executive director of the Motorcity Activity Center (MAC), a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting Detroit’s most vulnerable communities through hands-on service, mentorship, and empowerment. Under his leadership, MAC has provided over 1,000 meals to local families and hosted free community baby showers for expectant mothers on Medicaid—offering essentials like diapers, wipes, and gift cards to ease the burden of new parenthood. As a 2024 New Leaders Council Fellow and a senior consultant with Oracle Health, Donald brings professional excellence and deep community roots to every initiative. He mentors youth and young adults through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career development programs—impacting lives far beyond basic needs. Fueled by strong family values and a genuine commitment to service, Donald’s work inspires a culture of compassion and accountability. For donors and volunteers, supporting MAC means investing in sustainable change and joining a mission that turns hope into action, one life at a time. 

Accomplished operations manager at Walmart, holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Growing up on Detroit's west side, DeAngelo developed a strong sense of community and a passion for giving back, particularly in supporting children. His dedication to community service reflects his commitment to positively impacting others' lives.

Outside his professional career, DeAngelo is an avid sports enthusiast and fitness advocate. He loves staying active and enjoys various sports, which enhance his teamwork and leadership skills. DeAngelo’s dynamic personality and commitment to both his career and community make him an inspiring and well-rounded individual 

With over 20 years of international volunteer service and executive leadership in faith-based and community initiatives, Glenda Andrews Mitchell brings a powerful blend of compassion, strategy, and experience to every endeavor. A seasoned entrepreneur and nonprofit developer, she has helped small businesses grow and communities thrive. Glenda holds a BA in International Business, a Master’s in International Legal and Business Law, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and tech certifications in EHRM systems. Now serving in Federal Consulting Services, she continues to drive meaningful impact through innovation and service. Her guiding belief: “Opportunity is never lost; it just goes to someone else. Seize the moment.” 

 LaToya Mack A.A.S, RN, is a dedicated healthcare professional with experience in Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, Dental, and Revenue Cycle Management. Known for her patient-centered approach, LaToya brings compassion and excellence to every aspect of care. Beyond her clinical work, she is deeply committed to empowering young women through mentorship and advocacy—helping them recognize their worth, discover their unique strengths, and break through societal barriers. Her work fosters confidence, resilience, and leadership, creating lasting change in the lives of those she serves. 

 Born and raised in Detroit, Brian is committed to service, scholarship, and entrepreneurship. With a background in Journalism from Wayne State University and Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, his work has been featured in publications like The South End, Detroit Free Press, and South Florida Sun-Sentinel. He’s also the editor of Unpacking the Puzzle. Brian’s decade in Fort Lauderdale and current role in Houston reflect a strong career in hospitality leadership, including serving as Assistant General Manager at a Kimpton hotel. A dedicated family man, he enjoys parks, museums, and staycations with his wife and two children.
